An enlightening awareness program was organized by JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, with the support of the Department of Community Medicine and NSS Unit, aimed at educating 94 students and 7 staff members of MPUPS, Sangem about Tuberculosis (TB) and Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV). The session provided vital information on symptoms, prevention, and safe practices for both illnesses.
A practical demonstration of hand hygiene and mask usage was conducted to ensure participants are well-equipped to protect themselves from these contagious diseases.
The event was honored with the presence of Dr. Bhavya Shikha, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, along with PG scholars, ASHA, and Anganwadi workers.
The response from the students and staff was overwhelmingly positive! The participants not only learned about TB and HMPV but also gained the confidence to spread health awareness and healthy practices within their communities. Together, we are empowering the next generation to take charge in the fight against TB!
