On the occasion of “WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY”, the 1st Year BHMS CBDC students presented a seminar at JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital to spread awareness about blood donation.
The seminar was conducted to educate the young upcoming doctors on the Importance of blood donation and the complications of blood donation. The seminar topics, presented by the students are Mr. Nishant Rayal addressed on What is blood and the Importance of blood, Mr. K. Pranith Kumar explained the Importance of blood donation, and Ms. S. Shrestha discussed the different types of blood groups; Ms. Vaishnavi C.H. explained the Complications of blood transfusion.
Each student focused on a specific aspect related to blood donation, aiming to educate their peers about its critical role in healthcare and the community. It’s great to see such initiatives fostering awareness among future healthcare professionals!
