Dr R. K Manchanda, Director General, CCRH, Govt of India, along with Dr. Himabindu, Scientist II, RRI, Hyderabad and Dr E.A. Sundaram Scientist IV , RRI Hyderabad visited JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital on the 9th of July 2018. Dr Manchanda appreciated the hard work put in by the team of the Hospital in developing such a huge patient base in spite of being in a rural place.
Dr. Manchanda visited the college campus. He appreciated the efforts of the management in providing the huge amount of infrastructure and state of art lecture theatres and said that other institutes should get inspired to do the same.
He attended the first meeting of the IEC constituted by JIMS. Dr Manchanda spoke about the project on “Comparison of conventional and Homoeopathic Paradigms in treating children aged 0-18 months” and said this project is being done in collaboration with CICM, Israel as part of the MoU signed between the Govt. of Israel and Govt. of India. He said that JIMS Hospital was chosen as site of investigation after a thorough study of different Homoeopathic Hospitals in India.
Dr. Manchanda addressed the students of JIMS .Dr Arvind Kothe, Director, JIMSHMC gave a floral welcome and Dr Raghuramchandra, Principal, JIMSHMC gave the welcome address. Dr. Manchanda in his address to the students gave a brief “Overview of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy”. He spoke about the multifaceted work carried out by CCRH like, Evidence Based researches on clinical, fundamental and validation aspects, universally acceptable research designs, thorough peer reviews , ethical and scientific approvals by various committees for protocol designs, publication of works in reputed journals, dissemination of works at various public information counters , exchange of information with other institutions, associations and societies interested in the objectives similar to those of the council.
Collaborations with other institutes of Excellence for promotion of Homoeopathy and also international collaborations with 12 countries.He encouraged the students to utilize all the facilities available at JIMS and said they were fortunate to study in an institute like JIMS which has etched a name for itself at a remarkable pace.
